• People who use "off of" as part of a sentence
• Bad grammar use in general (by native speakers who should know better anyway)
• Having to work weekends
• White Maltesers
• Not having played in a proper football match since mid-November ... in fact, that's probably worst of the lot
Everything seems to come in 5s in my blogging at the moment. I think I should try to break the trend next time around.

What do I blog about?
Life. Anything that matters to or interests me. Nothing's ruled in or out. I'll attempt to mix the shallow throw-away thoughts with some that are deeper and more meaningful. I'll try to be as personal as possible - given that this can be read by anyone worldwide - to keep it real, but also try to draw out more general thoughts to make it as relevant as possible to others.
Why blog?
I've been blogging since my university days when I realised that I enjoyed the non-deadline-driven creative writing opportunity that it provides. Even if no-one else reads my postings, I find writing blog entries to be an amazing way of collating and structuring my thoughts and getting my introverted ideas 'out there'. If other people read my ponderings too, as I know at least a few do from time to time, then that's a bonus - I hope you find them challenging, encouraging and entertaining.
